In memory of

Peter Anton Froebel

September 28, 1958 -  May 25, 2017

Peter passed away as a result of cancer.
He will be missed by his wife, Christine Laflamme, his children, Jennifer and David, his mother Ann, his brother Mike (Shonna), his brother Eric (Jen), his brother-in-law Guy Laflamme (Sonia), his sister-in-law Nathalie Laflamme (Stephane), his sister-in-law Sophie Laflamme, and nieces and nephews Katrina, Tanya, James, Emma, Cédric, Gabrielle, Stéphanie, and Vincent.
Peter worked at OPG, and previous to that Ontario Hydro since 1980, after having great experiences at summer jobs at Ontario Hydro every summer from 1977 on. He proudly wore the engineering ring he earned getting his degree.
He was a focused runner, tracking every run he took and running several times a week. He ran countless races including 5 km, 10 km, and half marathons, and enjoyed the experience of accompanying Eric during the last stage of one of Eric’s marathons.
He also loved a well-built car, and took good care of his vehicles, recently enjoying a couple of cars he bought just for the fun of driving them.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

My condlences to Ann, Christine, David, Jennifer, Eric, Mike and families. Peter was a great guy and I have many fond memories of Froebel family get togethers over the years. A tragic loss of someone much too young but his spirit will live on with his kids. Heaven has just added an awesome runner and guy to their team and he'll be reunited with his Dad to share Volvo stories. We've lost a great guy and my deepest sympathies to the family.
