In memory of

Penny Noble

Penny Noble – an industry leader, talent agent extraordinaire, and Canadian entertainment titan – passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025 after a courageous five-month battle with brain cancer.

A trailblazer in the Canadian entertainment industry, Penny founded Noble Talent Management in her early twenties, which would eventually become the powerhouse agency, Noble Caplan Abrams (NCA). She was an unstoppable force as a talent agent, and more recently, a proud Canadian film producer of the feature film Stealing the Sky. Needless to say, Penny mentored countless artists and shaped careers across stage and screen. Her contributions to the world of film, television, and theatre cannot be overstated. With her passing, a great void will forever remain in the Canadian entertainment industry.

As with any great production, the credits must roll – in this case, they include the dedicated, talented, and incredibly loyal team at NCA.

Penny’s greatest role, however, was as a mother to her daughters, Gigi and Gemma, who were her deepest pride and joy. Gigi and Gemma Noble stand as a testament to the kind of woman that Penny was. She adopted both girls from China and raised them as a single parent. Penny was a great role model of independence and bravery to her girls – it is no surprise that both Gigi and Gemma have blossomed into intelligent and ambitious young women. Her love for them was boundless, and her spirit will live on in their strength and grace.

Penny is also survived by her family: her brother Craig (Helen); her nephews Justin (Jennifer), Cameron (Afroze), and Spencer (Annabel); her beloved cousins Gordene and Marylou; and, her lifelong friends who stood by her through every chapter and offered their love, laughter, and support. The family extends special thanks to Ruby for her care and tenderness in Penny’s final months.

Penny passionately stood for human rights and equal access to fundamental human needs. She donated on a regular basis to World Vision, Planned Parenthood, the Brady Center, and numerous local theatre companies. Any donations in her honour would be appreciated. Penny’s compassion and kindness extended far beyond her immediate circle, touching countless lives in ways many will never fully know.

With all due respect to the multitudes of individuals that Penny affected, the family has decided that a private visitation is best, followed by an invite-only celebration of life. In lieu of an invitation, please consider donating to one of the many charities mentioned.
