Pauline Joan Walfall (Marie) lived at 132 Darren Avenue in Whitby, Ontario. She passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 81. Pauline was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt known for her courage, generous heart, boundless love, and care for all.
Her parents, Alfred and Kathleen Walfall, preceded her death, as did her siblings, Alfred Walfall Jr, Alvin Walfall, Edna Elaine Lomax, and Joyce Jackson. Her memories and those here named will always be cherished in our hearts.
Pauline is survived by her sons, Peter L. Walfall (Manion Wilkins & Associates) and Rev. Dr. Paul Douglas Walfall (United Church of Canada), her grandsons, Nathan Walfall and Christopher Walfall, her nieces and nephews, Alvin Michael Walfall (USA), Andrea Walfall (USA), Paula (David) Taylor, Edward Lomax Jr (USA), Raymond (Darcey) Lomax (USA), Wayne Walfall , Michelle (Devon) Yorke (USA), Ann Marie Walfall (USA), her sister-in-law, Pauline M. Walfall, brother-in-law, Edward Lomax Snr, grand-nephews and nieces, and many other friends and relatives.
A visitation will be held at Thornton Funeral Centre, 1200 Thornton Road N., Oshawa on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
A service of thanksgiving and celebration to honor Pauline's life will be held at Sharon-Hope United Church, 18648 Leslie Street, Sharon, Ontario L0G 1V0, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024. After the service, there will be an interment at Highland Memory Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Lane, Willowdale, ON. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers you are invited to make an offering towards the Walfall Memorial Fund which will be received during the funeral service.
