Dear Dr. Lilian and family,

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Paul. He was not only a beloved and devoted leader in his family, in the faith community, in the academic world and in the clinical psychology field, but also a cherished friend and brother in the Lord. His wisdom, kindness, generosity, hard work, positivity and grit amidst adversity, and unwavering conviction and faith inspired all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May the love of family and friends provide you with comfort, and may your faith give you strength.

We are assured that Dr. Paul is now in heaven with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ whom he loved, followed and served. This assurance is from what Jesus said to the believing thief dying with him: Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43)

One day, we will see Dr. Paul again in heaven.

With deepest sympathy,
TK
