<div itemprop="description">After a courageous battle with cancer, Paul William Robertson passed away in his 59th year with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Carole and loving father to Danielle. Paul is survived by his mother Mary, brother John, and sisters Kathryn and Ann. He was greatly loved by his family and will be sadly missed. Paul W. Robertson was Executive Vice President Shaw Communications Inc. and President, Shaw Media. He loved his career in media, particularly working with the Shaw team. Paul was well-liked and highly respected in the industry. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and colleagues for his great sense of humour, positive attitude, collaborative management style, and his zest for life. Paul profoundly touched the lives of many people and will be deeply missed by all &ndash; he truly was one-of-a-kind. A special thanks to the doctors and staff at Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care and Princess Margaret Hospital, and all of Paul&rsquo;s caregivers who devoted themselves to ensuring Paul enjoyed quality of life. If desired, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care or the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul&rsquo;s, 227 Bloor Street East, on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a private family interment service at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.</div>
