Paul Eugene Leduc Sept 16 1926- Feb 12 2012 After a remarkable battle with cancer, we are saddened by the loss of our father and step father on February 12th 2012. Paul died at home in Don Mills with families on hand. He was predeceased by wives Mary (O'Connell) and his dear Jackie. He is survived by his son and daughter Michael (Karen) and Jo-Anne and his grandsons Matthew and Blair. Paul is also sorely missed by Jackie's family the Lucas'. Robert (Judy), Suzanne (Paul), Jane (Richard), grandson Christopher (Chelsea) and great grandson Holden. Paul has been a loyal and lifelong friend to many in Ottawa and Toronto. He has also been a devoted Godfather to several children of his friends and family. Paul leaves behind his surviving sisters Janine in Ottawa and Marie in Mascouche Quebec. He is predeceased by his brother, Jean Guy. We owe a debt of gratitude to good friends in his condominium who were there with a meal, friendship and company when he needed it most. You know who you are. Thanks also to the team at Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care at Mt. Sinai Hospital and to the St. Elizabeth Palliative Care team who made it possible for him to live out his last days comfortably in his own home. Paul had a long career with Texaco/ Esso which created another network of lifelong friends who enjoyed many retirement events together. After the loss of Jackie, Paul became a dedicated volunteer driver for the Canadian Cancer Society. It was a great focus for his boundless energy. Bye Dad.
