It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Rigillo (nee Punam Kumar) due to complications arising from leukemia, on Monday June 27th 2016 at the Toronto General Hospital. Born in 1951 in Vidisha, India, to Anand Sarup Kumar (deceased) and Pushpa Kumar, Patricia immigrated to Toronto with her parents and brothers in 1972 after living in Ghana and in London, UK. She married her husband Vito Rigillo in Toronto in 1980. Patricia had a passion for fashion and managed the shops of several prominent Toronto designers, including Melanie Lyne, Franco Mirabelli, Linda Lundström, and Vivian Shyu. Cherished wife of Vito, beloved mother to Nicole and Michael (Diosbel), and sadly missed by mother Pushpa, brothers Sonny (Bozena), Sam (Judy), Sandy, and Sanj (Katherine) and her nieces and nephews Jacqueline, Crystal, Jennifer, Ryan, Analisa, Alex, James, Victoria, and Andrew. Memorial gifts may be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (see the donations tab). A viewing will be held on Thursday June 30th from 4pm to 8pm and a funeral service on Saturday July 2nd from 8:30am to 10:30am (burial to follow) at the Meadowvale Funeral Centre (full details under the funeral tab). Following the funeral, guests are invited to a reception at her brother Sonny Kumar’s home at the following address:
