Rohini foi...yes that's how we knew her from childhood....i got to see her when she came to India after 21 years. I had turned 18 years by then...she had a very beautiful sense of Dressing , very caring and soft spoken ....she use to love me a lot, because i had brought her to my home from her hotel to stay with us and she was so happy staying with us, and use to tell me good you brought me to your place i was getting bored alone in the hotel in colaba area...
I am greatful to her that she had come all the way from Canada second time to India to attend my wedding in the year 2000 i had gone to the airport to pick her up in my car and she liked it so much gave me so much of blessings ....so that was special for me...she use to stand out from other crowd bcos of her beautiful dress sense and to top it off her beautiful hats which she wore in India....i can never forget her the bonding she had with my dad and mom it was different and special....she use to help my mom a lot as she had come to gilbert's family after her marriage to my dad , she always use to take my mom side and use to fight it out with her mom flora if anything wrong was told to my mom .... typical what happens in joint family, my mom tells me lot of good things how she use to stand by her in her difficult times....she was a professor in one of the top colleges in Mumbai and that college still has her name written on marble stone in college. I have heard she had a very good sense of music she use to talk to me about different classical songs and tunes....
She was very fun loving and full of life when she stayed with us we came to know about her humours side as well also she was a no nonsense person..very straight forward person...
Last of the Gilbert Siblings has gone but her memories will stay with us for ever.
Thank you Rohini foi for everything and you have lived your life to the full...RIP Rohini foi.
Till we meet again.
With lots of love

Beautiful tribute to a lady we never had the opportunity or privilege of meeting but based on the offspring they have produced; we know she was beautiful and caring lady. Our deepest and sincere condolences to the entire Mistry family for your loss. May she rest in peace!
