In memory of

Patricia Christine McKillip

April 10, 1952 -  December 11, 2018

Patricia Christine McKillip was born in Nakina, Ont, on April 10, 1952.
She is predeceased by her sister Edith Marie (1950), her mother, Doris (1992), her father, Bill (1995), and her nephew Larry (1998). Pat is survived by her siblings: Betty (Jim), Jean (Bob), John (Sue), and Ruth; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Steve), Crystal (Jim), Bobby (Tannis), Jim (Kristen), her great nieces and nephews: Taylor, Hailey, Alie, Brook, Andrew, Aiden, Kerri-Lynn, Jayda, and Ava. Pat will also be missed by her extended family (the McKillip, Dumais, Landry, Keen, Deciccio, Burnie and Patten families) and her many colleagues and friends.

Pat was a 1972 graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing. She practiced her profession around the world including Australia, Northwest Territories, Nevada, Leeds England, St. Anthony NFLD, Churchill MB and then returned to Toronto for the remainder of her career. Pat retired from nursing in 2010 but had not slowed down since.

Pat was an avid reader, baker, theatre goer, guitar player, singer, baby sitter and philanthropist. Pat lived her life to the fullest and was always there for family and whoever needed her. She loved family gatherings with music, singing, food, love and laughter.

Her hugs, smiles and treats will be missed by many. We all have our own fond memories of our times with Pat to cherish.

The family band in heaven has just gained another member.

Pat and I lived together in the late 1979 and 1980 in Yellowknife, NWT and Edmonton, AB. We had many adventures together and I learned so much from Pat. We were part of a group of 20 somethings that were all employed in Yellowknife at the same time. I will always remember Pat pulling out her guitar and the sing alongs, her sense of humour, and her love and pride as she spoke of her family. Godspeed Pat. Loving thoughts to Pat's family and friends. Kat & Doug from the Yukon.

Pat you were the glue that held all our families together. You have left us far too soon but you have nevertheless left us with enough memories and laughter to last lifetimes. You will be missed beyond measure. ❤️

My condolences to the entire McKillip family. Patty was always a pleasure to be around when we lived in Nakina.
