Lansimaki, Olavl (Ollie) Erik

Born July 13th, 1937 in Helsinki, Finland. passing away on Wednesday July 19th, 2017 at North York General Hospital at the age of 80 with family by his side. Son of the late Erkki Lansimaki and Ester (Lindholm). Loving husband of Tuulikki Jarvinen. Dear father of Anne (Art VanVark) of Trenton and Paul (Christine) of Napanee. Predeceased by his wife Mirkka Eva ( Seppanen ), sister Helvi Lansimaki and grandson Aaron VanVark. Brother of Margit Suutari ( Finland) and Liisa Lansimaki (Sweden). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Arlene, Sari, Lea, Evi, Jake and great grandson Austin, plus his nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at The Simple Alternative Funeral Home 275 Lesmill Road, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M3B 2V1 on Tuesday July 25th, 2017 from 11am to 12 pm followed by a chapel service and reception. A private interment will take place on Wednesday July 26th, 2017 at the Carrying Place Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory.
