Norman Mattison Kelly

October 24, 1925 -  June 19, 2016

Passed away June 19, 2016 at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre. Norm was born in Blyth, England, October 24, 1925. His family immigrated to Canada in the late 20's.

He ran away at age 14 to join the Navy, proudly serving in The North Atlantic, involved anti submarine warfare.

After the war, he founded a successful electronics business in Toronto and started a family. He was a longtime active member of The Donalda Golf and Country Club, where he was known for his dry sense of humour.

He was also an avid amateur pilot, building his own plane in 1967 which is still in the family.

He is survived by his longtime comrade Eva, his three sons, two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter, as well as the mother of his children Evelyn. A celebration of his Life will be held at The Donalda Golf and Country Club (12 Bushbury Dr., Toronto), on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 1-5 p.m.
