In memory of

Norman Alexander

January 23, 1965 -  October 16, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Norman David Buffery, a lifelong Torontonian who died peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the age of 60. Norman was born on January 23, 1965.
A beloved son, brother, and dedicated member of his community, Norman was the cherished son of the late Norman Sr. and Veronica Buffery.

Norman was a passionate volunteer, giving his time to Our Place, where he loved helping his community and made many dear friends. An avid bowler, he spent many hours on the lanes, earning various trophies and medals for his participation. Norman was a well-known and kind fixture within his community, and the friendships he forged at both the volunteer centre and the bowling alley were a source of great joy.

He was a dear brother and a lively presence in the lives of his seven siblings: Michael, Jo-Anne, John, Steven, Maggie, Barbara, and Meaghan. Norman's memory will live on through his family members, and friends who adored his wit, kindness, and unique spirit.

A Memorial Service will be held at the SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, Ontario on Monday November 10, 2025 at 11 a.m. Visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Our Place, a community mental health center where Norman volunteered. Registered Charity #107949893 RR0001

His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Details regarding funeral services and a celebration of Norman's life will be shared with family and friends shortly.

Goodbye, Norman.
Thank you for the years of conversation and thoughtful exchanges, even when they included some tough words between us. My heartfelt condolences go to your family for their loss. We werenโ€™t exactly friends, but we werenโ€™t enemies either, and I always respected your presence and the part you played in our lives.

I hope your passing was peaceful, and that wherever you are now, youโ€™ve found rest and understanding. You will be remembered.

Rest easy, Norman, until we meet again....
