A kind and nice man who loved his food.
I met Norm through the secular humanist movement years ago in Toronto. A deep friendship evolved. It developed through a common theme: it is important to be kind. The ability of human kind to be cruel to each other saddened & bewildered Norm. He saw how ignorance was the greatest of all human sins. Many hours were spent discussing reality, how things worked & didn't work, the subtle shadings of perceived truth.
"He delighted in food" is a huge understatement.
His love of Chris & the family were paramount.
You will be missed.
My deepest sympathies to all of Norm’s family. I will never forget him. I am forever grateful for an unforgettable moment I shared with him and thanks to him, it became one of my greatest enjoyments for the rest of my life/. The opera!!
Our condolences, Chris, thinking of you and family. Take care and hope you have many happy memories.
Chris, I'm sending my warmest condolences to you and your daughters. Norm's spirit and wit and kindness live on through you and your daughters. The last few years have been so hard for him and for you and the family, but the love for him shines through all those tough times.
