In memory of

Noboru Ohashi

November 22, 1926 -  September 30, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Noboru Ohashi on September 30, 2024 at Michael Garron Hospital, at the grand old age of 97.

He was the son of Maki and Shohei. Noboru was cherished by his wife of 69 years; Mieko (nee Fujita) Ohashi. Cherished father of David (Pamela) and Brian (Rebecca). He was so proud of and dearly loved his grandkids; John Kenichi, Douglas Noboru, Daniel Akira and Jeffrey Shoji Ohashi and Tsyoshi and Kaitlyn Ohashi and Kira, Mika and Kai Ohashi. Most excited and proud of his great grandson Bruce Noboru.

Predeceased by his sister Mitsuko, brothers Graigu (Greg), Yoshio and Tomatsu.

Noboru was a hardworking, dedicated man that always put family first. Sacrificing his candy, treats and desserts for others to enjoy. He loved his garden often producing more vegetables than could be consumed or eaten with enough to feed the squirrels. He was a patient man spending countless hours on his stamp and coin collections. But nothing brought him more joy than taking multiple photos of his grandkids and family and looking at them endlessly.

Special thanks to the compassionate medical teams and support workers at both Credit Valley and Michael Garron Hospitals.
A funeral service will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Centre at 625 Birchmount Road on Saturday October 5, 2024 with visitation at 2:00 pm, service at 3:00 pm followed by burial and reception at 4:30.
