It is with an extremely heavy heart we announce the passing of Nick Pateras.

Nick Pateras, March 3, 1947, Proti, Florina, Greece – May 22, 2020 Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Health Hospital surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his loving wife Kathy, his daughters Mary (Dennis), and Joyce (Jim). Caring grandfather (“Popie”) Alexcia, Nicholas, Matthew, Stefanos, and Elena. Survived by his sister Tina Nastou (Victor).
Funeral to take place on Tuesday May 26th, 2020 at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church at 1pm, 11323 Warden Ave, Markham, for immediate family only, followed by internment at Elgin Mills Cemetery.

Due to the pandemic funeral services with take place for immediate family only, flowers may be sent to the Cemetery only at Elgin Mills Cemetery 1591 Elgin Mills Rd. East.

Incredibly sad to hear the news today that we lost Nick. He will be missed; his smile, sense of humour, and boy oh boy he could dance! It’s unfortunate that during these extraordinary times we cannot show our respect during the funerary services, but know that Nick is in our prayers.
