In memory of

Nick Alexiadis

February 24, 1927 -  September 24, 2022

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Nick (Nicola) Alexiadis, 95, on Saturday September 24, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves his beloved wife of 63 years, Melpomeni (Zasapalis), caring and devoted father to Ted, Annette and son-in-law John. Proud and adoring papou to Erika and Georgia.

Nick was predeceased by his parents Vasiliki and Petro and was the longest surviving of siblings: Lazos, Maria, Thomaie, Kocho and Zoi.

Nick emigrated to Canada from Florina in 1953, quickly gravitating to the restaurant business. He had an honest & tireless work ethic which contributed to an enjoyable career as a chef and owner. His family learned from his example that to love and support one's family is the greatest gift, and would no less hesitate to remind others of the importance of God and health. He will be greatly missed by all.

The family will receive friends at the Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre from 4 – 8 pm on Wednesday, September 28.

A mass will take place at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at 3840 Finch Ave East, Scarborough on Thursday, September 29 at 11 am. Internment will take place afterwards at Pine Hills Cemetery at 625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough.

Your great smiles and big hugs, I will miss. A great husband and great father and grandfather, and a good friend. He loved and cared deeply for his family. Worked hard to provide and take care of them. He was determined to do what he needed to do throughout his life.
Loved his garden and took care of it with a passion. And he would bring forward this knowledge to his children.
Nick, you will truly be missed. May you rest now in God's hands and know that one day we will meet again.

Please accept our condolences for the loss of your wonderful father, husband, grandfather and friend to many. Although we did not get to meet him he will live
on in those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

He is just a memory away from those who loved him. You were greatly blessed
to have him in your lives. He will live on in your hearts and memories.

God Bless you Nick, now and always
