For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Neville Hickson more affectionately knowns as “Scrapers” or “Donkey Scrapers” of Parson but who last resided in Edmonton Alberta Canada departed this life on Sunday 19 September 2021 at the age of 70.

He was a loving father of five children Alfred “Blackie” Ryan residing in Canada, Elvern and Vernese Hussey in Leicester, Jeffery Daniel, and Rashawn Hickson in Canada. One adopted daughter Denese Ryan in Birmingham.

Also left to mourn are:

Ten grandchildren to include: Shanise and Vonise Ryan in Canada, Yannic Green, Azania, Zavarie, Zauvisha, Nyasha, and Amayah Hussey all residing in the United Kingdom.

Neville has twelve surviving brothers and sisters: Emelda Lindsey, Alford and Vincia Lindsey, Audrey Prince, Iona Bass, Christiana Hickson in USVI, Leroy “Buck” Ryner all residing in the USA, Althea Lindsey, Olga Molyneaux, Norman, Ethlyn and Susan Hickson in the United Kingdom and Kenneth Dorsett in Canada.

Weeping may endure for the night buy joy comes in the morning. A celebrations service for the life of Neville Hickson will take place on 30th October 2021 2pm at Meadowvale Funeral Centre,7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, Ontario Canada L6Y 5L5. Viewing 1pm to 2pm
