Nancy Louise Hamilton

May 20, 1947 -  July 19, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Hamilton (Simson), on Friday, July 19, 2024.

Nancy will forever be remembered and missed by her loving husband Bob and cherished daughter Amy. Nancy and Bob said their vows on August 14, 1971 at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Toronto. She will also be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Thanks to the staff at Hillsdale Estates LTC in Oshawa for their caring and loving support over the last six years of Nancy‘s life.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, August 24 at Pine Hills cemetery 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough from 12 to 2PM. Burial will take place after.

We kindly asked for flowers to be sent to the funeral home to honour her memory and bring beauty to the celebration of her life. Alternatively, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society https://ontariospca.ca/.

Amy your mom was always so kind, generous and thoughtful! I remember her excitement and nervousness when we went on our first adventure together overseas to Scotland! She was a proud loving Mom and such a sweet lady who will be missed! Sending you both big hugs. Love from Kristen, Douglas, Kyla and Ethan

Dear Amy and Bob,

I am so sorry for your loss. I know this is a difficult time for you, and I want you to know that I am here for you. Even though I never had the chance to meet your mother, I know how much she meant to you, and I can only imagine the depth of your sorrow.

Please remember that you are not alone. Lean on your friends and family for support, and take all the time you need to grieve and heal. If there is anything I can do to help, please don't hesitate to let me know.

With heartfelt condolences,

Laura, Wes and the Notton Crew
