AUSTIN, Murray
Passed away at the age of 77 on December 24, 2017, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, with his loving family by his side. Loving husband and soul mate of Linda for over 53 years. Adored Daddy of Cheri, cherished Pop of Jordan and Jenna. Murray will be fondly missed by many family members, especially brother Hayward and very special niece Karen. He will be forever remembered for his great sense of humour and his love of storytelling. This day will be “Pop’s day”. A celebration of Murray’s life will take place at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road, N., Oshawa 905-579-6787) on Monday January 22, 2018. Public visitation from 11am-1pm, a private family service will follow. By the family's request, please no flowers.

Murray, we shared a lot of secrets together. Had some great times. Told each othe lies till we believed them. Thanks for being a great friend and mentor. Even though I was a better fisherman and always caught the most and the biggest. I will always miss you.
