In memory of

李文楚先生 Mun Chu Lee

January 18, 1931 -  May 15, 2019

Mun Chu Lee, 88, passed away peacefully at Toronto's Princess Margaret Hospital following a battle with prostate cancer. Mun Chu was born, raised, and married Fay Kam Mah in Guangdong, China. He became a Civil Engineer specializing in bridges. His wife and eldest daughter, Kathy Sit Moi, immigrated to Canada. Due to circumstances in China, Mun Chu was only able to join his wife and daughter in Toronto 14 years later. Mun Chu raised his family, worked at Ontario Hydro, and was very active in the Chinese community.

A generous man, Mun Chu was always there to help his family and friends. He will be missed by many and survived by his daughter, Cindy, (husband Bob), son Johnny, (wife Elizabeth), and granddaughter Jennifer.

Thinking of you all.
Your grandfather and father was so proud you Cindy, Johnny and Jennifer and what you have accomplished. He was a generous man but also very hard working. I remember Kathy saying, soon after he arrived that he was always working and slept very little. He wanted to give you happy and secure lives and I’m sure he died in peace knowing he did his best for you.
