In memory of

Mrs. Noreen Kennedy

December 9, 1931 -  July 1, 2018

Passed on July 1st, 2018 Noreen Kennedy (known affectionately as Doogie or Nana) was predeceased by the love of her life and husband Gerry, and leaves behind her daughter Sharon (David) Baker, Pickering and son Dave (Patti) Kennedy, Orillia. Nana will be missed by her grandchildren Jeff Kennedy, Calgary, Joel Kennedy, Barrie, Sabrina (Benn) Leveille, Chatham, Taylor (Samuel) Andrulis, Ormeau, Australia and Meghan Baker (Sam Clarke), Broadbeach Australia; and great grandchildren Sarah and Andrew Kennedy, Noah Kennedy, Aubrey, Emmett and Aiden Leveille and Eleanor (Ellie) Andrulis. Sharon and Dave would like to thank the paramedics, doctors and nurses at Lakeridge Ajax Hospital who cared for her in her final hours and who were so good to us. We would also like to thank Suzanne Rohl for being such a true friend especially in what turned out to be her final days. We hope that Mom and Dad are together now to celebrate what would have been their 63rd wedding anniversary next week.

Mom went with us to Australia for Taylor and Samuel's Australian wedding reception. We flew out on her 84th birthday. I broke my shoulder while there, and David and I had to come back early. Mom and Meghan came back together. The picture of Mom in the wheelchair with Meg is when they landed at Pearson after about 30 hours of travel. Grandmother grand-daughter bonding taken to the extreme!

Mom and Betty found each other at a time in their lives that made their friendship extra special. I think they each extended the life of the other by a decade. We will miss them both.

Mom and Dad lived in a number of places over the years and everywhere they lived they made good friends.
