In memory of

陳嚴佩香太夫人 Mrs. Huong Boi Nghiem

September 20, 1918 -  September 17, 2018

Nghiem Boi Houng was a loving mother to 4 children: Yonghuan, Helen, Hoi, and Fanny, and a loving grandmother.

She was born in 1918 in Vietnam and was a pioneer by running her own herbal medicinal practice as a woman, and was committing to helping people.

In 1980, she came to Canada, living in Edmonton and recently in Toronto, while watching her 10 grandchildren grow up.
Her secret to a long life was laughing and being happy. Her favourite things included spending time with nature, playing mah-jong, eating banh cuon and pizza, cooking and baking, knitting hats and clothes, and sharing great meals with the family.

She was also known for sharing wise words of wisdom to the family, such as follow your own path, not sweating the small stuff, and letting go of the past to be in the present. She continued to have her witty personality up until the final days of her near century long life.

Our mother and grandmother was a central figure to the family, was well respected, and will be missed dearly.
