The Pirouzi family is saddened to announce that Dr. Mohammad Ali Pirouzi passed peacefully at his residence in the company of his family in the early hours of January 23rd 2023. He was 93 years old.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and faithful companion of 70 years, Farideh and their children Pirouz, Peiman and Peivand. He will be dearly missed and forever in the hearts of all of his grandchildren, Pasha, Poulad, Paya, Bardiya, Mandan, Panteah, and Parmida, and great-grandchildren Piero, Penelope, Kiana, Arya and Darya. He was born into a large family who admired and loved him dearly throughout his life with them. He was adored and cherished by his own established family, who revered him as their patriarch for many years and consider themselves very fortunate to have had the pleasure of his presence at every occasion.
An accomplished and well-known dermatologist, he received numerous awards in recognition of his contributions to his practice in the field as well as his community. He was devoted to the betterment of his patients and carried in his heart a lifetime commitment to the improvement of humanity. He was ever-present in the lives of his loved ones and an enduring source of joy, optimism and happiness for everyone who came into contact with him. He was a man of culture, one who enjoyed travel and exploration and who remained active throughout his life, never missing an opportunity to seize the day. Truly a man who was never observed to have a bad day or a poor attitude, he was an inspiration to his family and an excellent role model in how to maintain positivity and composure in the face of adversity.
A kind, patient, honest, and loving man, he will be sorely missed by all of his family and the greater community who surrounded him in his life. He will be remembered forever in the hearts of the many, many people he encountered in his time on this earth. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the dear extended family and individuals who filled his life with their kindness and compassionate care.
Burial service will held on Saturday January 28th, 10:00am at 1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1M9 Section 22 Lot 288.
If so desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
