It is with a heavy heart and great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father and brother, Mirko Vejnovic. Mirko was the loving husband to Spomenka; beloved father to Nikola; Cherished brother to Djuro, Mira, and Mila. Predeceased by his father Dusan and mother Nevenka. He will be greatly missed by all family and friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, A private service will be taking place for immediate family only. Mirko will be resting at York Cemetery.

I loved talking to Mirko about sports, he always made a point of coming over if he saw me. I should also say he had absolutely no problem beating me at Ping Pong.
