Mirko Mitrovic, 70, a loving husband, father, father in law, brother, uncle and grandpa, passed away on June 6th, following a courageous battle with a merciless disease.

Mirko was born in Serbia to parents Radomir and Dragica Mitrovic and has two sisters Slavica and Mirjana. He married his life partner, Merima Mitrovic and went on to have two loving children, son Dejan and daughter Ivana.

In 1991 they left their homeland and moved to Canada, where both of their children married and he became a grandfather to Lazar, Nikola and Aleksandar.

Mirko was firstly a kind man. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He was full of positive and contagious energy. He made us all laugh. With him around, we always felt safe and at ease.

May his kind soul rest in peace until we see each other again.
