Mirdza Azis passed away peacefully on Monday, October 16, 2017 in her 92nd year.
Wife of the late Janis, dear mother of Ivars (Jill), Art (Pat), and Ruta (Dan) Roumbanis.
Loving grandmother of Kristine, Emma (Ivan), Johanna, Alex and John.
Predeceased by her sister Wilma.
Mirdza was born in More, Latvia. She had to flee Latvia due to World War II and spent 5 years in Denmark before coming to Canada where she met her husband, Janis.
Mirdza was devoted to her family and faith. She was hard working and never tired of doting on her children and their families.
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children and grandchildren, and relatives in Latvia.
