It is with great sorrow we announce the loss of Mioara, who passed away peacefully in her 86th year. She was a proud mother to Adrian, a loving grandmother to Michael, and a dear mother-in-law to Liliana.

Mioara will be remembered by her immense capability of love and devotion. Having lost her husband when she was 38 years old, she dedicated her entire life in Romania to her son. In 1996, she emigrated to Canada where she focused on helping our family establish a new life and raising her grandson. Without her, our family accomplishments would not have been possible. Her generosity knew no limits.

Mioara will also be remembered by her love of good food, music, and her passionate singing voice and songs which indulged her dearest friends. Mioara especially enjoyed traveling the world with friends and family. She had a soft spot for the warmer destinations and loved the sun.

A Visitation will be held in Mioara’s memory on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 at 1:00 pm at YORK FUNERAL CENTRE. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm. Due to COVID- 19, capacity in our facilities are limited; therefore, we recommend reaching out to the immediate family to confirm your interest in attending prior to the event. In lieu of flowers, the Pascu family kindly asks that you consider making a donation to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or The Mackenzie Health Foundation in Mioara’s memory.
