Michel Nicholls Alfred, also known as “Sonny”, passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2018 at the St Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, Canada. He was born to Cordelia and Stafford Alfred on December 9, 1936 in Castle Bruce, Dominica.

A unique and gentle spirit. Charismatic. Elegant. Irreplaceable. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Catherine, his three daughters Juliette, Virgin and Glorie, his three sons Peter, Lennox and Richard, his three sisters Frances, Bernadette Gloria and Julianna, his brother Blaize, his six grandchildren Jeremiah, Keaton, Daniel, Shermica, Kidly, and Chantelle, his three great-grandchildren Amari, Jamiah and Jeremiah Jnr.

My dear Uncle Nicholls. I will miss your bright smile. You were so energetic and vibrant. I can still see you dancing at my dad's funeral. Uncle i love you. And will carry you in my heart always!. To my dear family . Let us be strong and comfort each other with our love. Uncle is smilling and dancing with the angels.

My grandpa, I call him daddy. He was indeed a great man. He loved to reason out and talk about the bible. He had lots of great insights. I remember him humming songs or singing choruses. I also remember the pigsnout n dumplings he use to make! I loved him dearly n now he has moved on to a better place. A place of no more sorrow. I will forever miss u daddy but in my heart shall I hold dear all of ur sweet memories. RIP daddy. As a family let's be strong in the Lord as he comforts our heart in a time like this.
