Michael Paul Stewart passed away on July 29, 2021 at the age of 72 in Scarborough, Ontario after a long struggle with Dementia.

Michael was born to Daniel and Alice Stewart on March 7, 1947 in Sylhet, Bangladesh.

Michael is survived by his wife; Regina Mukul Stewart, his children Maggie (Clayton), Daniel (Konia) and Jessie (Joshua), his grandchildren Owen and Levon, his sister; Mira D'Silva and his nieces and nephew; Barbara, Pamela, Candice and Clive.

A believer in hard work, Michael left for the Middle East in pursuit of work at an early age where he started a family. At the onset of the Gulf War, Michael fled the country with his family and friends overcoming obstacles and later immigrated to Canada.

Michael was a loving husband and father, a doting grandfather, supportive brother and a devoted friend and will be deeply missed.

A funeral service is planned for Wednesday August 4, 2021 at 0900 and burial to follow at Duffin Meadows.

Michael’da one of the most nicest person I have seen. He was always full of life, very friendly, loving & caring person. He left his shadow on his children, they are also the nicest people like him.
Michael’da was a man with a big heart & unique personality, I truly believe the world will miss him badly.
