Michael Bodnar

June 25, 1991 - February 22, 2025

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Bodnar.

He peacefully passed away in his sleep on February 22, 2025 at the age of 33.

He is the beloved son of Andrew and Jillian Bodnar, and brother to Pauline, and Michelle. He leaves behind his devoted fiancé, Sara (Sharisa) Gawtrey, and many nieces and nephews including Liam and Victoria.

Michael was a dependable and constant presence in our lives who added so much happiness, fun and light wherever he went. To him family came first - he loved his family and friends without measure. With an exciting future ahead of him, his time was cut short and he was taken too soon.

He leaves a great big hole in the hearts of his family and friends.

Wishing you eternal peace sweet Michael.

Andy & Jill, Pauline, Mickie, and Sarah, words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Michael was a good guy. Every time I saw him, he was laughing or had a smile on his face. I’ve known Mike my whole life and he was like family to my family and I. I am sending all of you and your families my love and condolences. Dear Sara and the Bodnar Family,

Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. Michael was an amazing friend and we really enjoyed spending time with him. We have great memories of going to sports games, comedy shows, Carlin and I’s engagement celebrations, and more. He was a great person who has left us way too soon. Michael, thank you for taking care of Sara and sharing such a deep love with my best friend.
