Peacefully passed away with her cherished daughter Martha by her side on Monday, May 26, 2025. Dear sister of Joyce Josephs-Ramsay (Trevor), Dorothy Josephs, Andrew Josephs, Kingsley Josephs (Vanetta), Gretel Josephs-Linton, Margaret Josephs-Elliott, Peter Josephs, Heather Josephs-Parchment (Alden), Sharon Josephs-Cespedes (Desmond). Merlyn will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her father and step-mother Calvert and Myrtle Gayle, her mother Evadney Josephs, and brother Joseph Kinkead.

Visitation will take place at Pine Hills Funeral Centre 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (North of St. Clair Ave. E) on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 10-11am. Funeral Services will begin at 11am. A live stream will begin at 10:45am for family and friends who are not able to attend in person. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Merlyn’s memory can be made to Parkinson’s Canada
