EWING, Margaret (Meg) (Meggy Peggy) McCulloch Robertson Hutton was born in Glasgow Scotland on August 3, 1928. After a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer disease and a recent stroke, Meg passed away at Grey Gables Long Term Care on August 17, 2017 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Duncan Ewing (2013). Loving mother of Isabell and (George) Donald, and Bill Ewing. Proud Nanny to James Donald and (Emily McClung), Michael and Christopher Ewing; and Great-Nanny of Jackson and Maeve Donald. Treasured sister of Betty Brash and predeceased siblings Helen, James (twin), Walter, David, Barbara, Jenny, Turner, Wilma, Cathy and Malcolm; Dear sister-in-law of Helen Coe. Forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and all who knew her. Many thanks go to Dr. B. Power and the caring compassionate staff at Grey Gables. Heartfelt thanks to the PSWS of CCAC – Grey Highlands for their love and care over the last seven years. Thanks and appreciation for the staff and volunteers of the Home and Community Support Services Day Away Program, Markdale. Friends and relatives will be received at Meadowvale Visitation Centre- 7732 Mavis Road (north of Hwy. 407 at Ray Lawson Blvd.) on Wednesday August 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Meadowvale Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society Canada would be appreciated.

So sorry for your loss. Your Mum was a wonderful lady. She always had a smile for us. I hope she is now with her beloved Duncan. She was truly loved. I will miss making shortbread for her. Life is a journey and she had a wonderful one. Love Sheila and David.
