GRESEK, MIKE June 14, 1926 – March 10, 2018 Loving husband of Sadie (nee) Byrnes, cherished Dad of Lisa, Father-in-law of Zenon, and loving grandpa to Brandon and Kyle “the boys.” Mike loved to tell stories of his colourful past. And boy did he have some good ones! Few men can claim to haveworked in a mine in Belgium, joined the circus in Germany, and worked as a lumberjack in Saskatchewan. When Mike found his way to Toronto, he was hired for cleanup after Hurricane Hazel, and finally put down roots when he got a job at Canada Packers, where he retired after 30 years. In his retirement, Mike loved nothing more than spending time with his family at the cottage, fishing with the boys, grilling up unforgettable steaks and working in the garden with Sadie.
