August 17, 1926 -  February 19, 2023

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Loving father of Rev. Dr. Gail Henderson (Jeff) and Jan Wood (Bob). Proud grandfather of B.J. (Becca), Faith (Darren), Dusty (Jenn), Hannah and Jack. Adored great grandfather of Norah, Oscar, Isabel and Greyden. After returning from WWII, where he was a member of the Navy, he enjoyed a long and fulfilling career at General Motors of Canada. In memory of Moe, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Mr Moe is what we would call him as small children because of respect, it was so wonderful growing up next door to him and Mrs Moe. So many fond memories spent with them in their home and they made us feel like we were part of the family. He always had a smile on his face and a hardy laugh ready to be had. We will miss him very much but are at peace knowing that he has been reunited with his true love.

Jan, I just wanted to send condolences to you and your family. You have been such a great support and loving daughter to your parents and it is that loving and kind spirit, your compassion that make you the wonderful counsellor/social worker and co-worker that you are. Take care of yourself. From things you have said it sounds like your dad lived a good life.
