October 4, 1940 - November 17, 2020

Passed away suddenly at St. Michael's Hospital, on November 17, 2020, at the age of 80. Loving husband of Lorraine for the past 57 years, father to James (Michelle) and poppa to Kaylei and Lainey, will be missed by nieces and nephews. Served with the Metro Toronto Police Force for 35 years, enjoyed retirement for the past 24 years, spending time with friends and family. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Providence Healthcare and St. Michael's Hospital Neuro ICU team for their support and care. A private memorial service will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Centre & Cemetery. Additional details at www.etouch.ca. Uncle Mason graced the table at every Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and birthdays galore since I married his niece, Judi (daughter of Aunt Lorraine’s big sister Shirley) 33 years ago. Over the years many family members who joined together at that table have passed on and now dear Uncle Mason joins their company in the great beyond. Mason was a gentle giant with a heart of gold who loves nothing better than bouncing his beloved granddaughters on his knee and revelling in their creativity and bright spirits. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Worked all night together. Went to Court all day together. The work got done and we remembered to laugh enough to maintain our sanity. Mase did all of this and was also, and first of all, a wonderful husband, father and grand father. Rest In Peace Brother. You will never be forgotten.
