In memory of

Masakazu (Mas) Mori

March 31, 1926 -  September 15, 2025

It is with great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Mas while residing at Langstaff Square Care Community, Richmond Hill.

Beloved husband of the late Yuri (nee Fujioka), Mas is survived by son Colin, daughter-in-law Randi, and granddaughters Jordyn and Rebecca. Predeceased by his sister Jenny and brothers Mickey and Yo. His loss is also deeply felt by his devoted nieces and nephews, and he will be dearly missed by family friends.

Born in Vancouver, B.C., Mas made his way to Toronto after the war where he met Yuri, married and settled in Willowdale, where they resided for over 50 years.

The family expresses deep gratitude for the exceptional care Mas received from the Nurses and PSW’s at Langstaff Square Care Community.

Visitation and funeral service will take place Monday September 29, 2025 at 11:00am at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Funeral Centre, located at 375 Mount Pleasant Road.

I’m so sorry for your loss Colin and Randi and Rebecca and Jordyn and family. I met your dad when you moved into the house on Apple Grove. He seemed like a lovely gentleman and I know he will be missed by all of you. Please know you are in my thoughts and may his memory be a blessing to all of you.
