It is with great sadness that the family of Masae Maruya announce her sudden passing on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the age of 90 years. She will be dearly missed by her only daughter, Susan (Yu Kwong) and her three grandchildren: Sean, Keaton and Lauren. She was predeceased by her loving husband of over 50 years (Satoshi). She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and long time friends in various parts of Ontario as well as Montreal.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 375 Mt Pleasant Rd, Toronto M4T 2V8. A service will be given at 12:00 pm and lunch will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Masae Maruya’s name to Momiji Health Care Society, 3555 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, Ontario, M1M 3W4, where she resided for over 20 years. Donations can also be made online through their website (upper right corner) :
