In memory of

Mary Kathleen Duggan

October 8, 1935 -  April 29, 2021

Peacefully on April 29th, 2021 at the Maple Grove Care Community, Mary Kathleen Duggan passed away.

Loving Mother to Jim, Daniel, Laura and daughter in law, Kathy Sauer. Predeceased by her daughter Brenda (2021) and Son in Law Frank (2019). Adored Grandma to Courtland (Kathleen), Brock and Skyler and Great-grandma to Carter and Owen.

After the birth of her children in the big City of Toronto, Mary and her Husband, Helmet moved and continued to raise their children in the suburbs of Bramalea, which become home from that day forward. Though a firm-handed woman, she was very fair, Mary was a loving, caring and open-minded women and was one heck of a cook! There was nothing like Mom’s cooking and baking!

Raising four children was a full time job, she was a stay-at-home mother. Eventually she made her way back into the work force, making friends along the way. For four years, Mary worked as a crossing guard, helping children cross the roads safely, the children lovingly gave her the nickname, Ralph. She then went on to Eaton’s and then made the decision to venture into the real estate business. After 20 plus years in the real estate business, Mary decided it wasn’t for her anymore. She, alongside her Boyfriend John Pos, Opened a Picture framing business. This went hand in hand as she always had an eye for art, she continued on with that for many, many years. That’s when her true calling came – Holistic healing remedies. In the mid-nineties, Mary obtained her Reflexology certification and opened her very first practise. Through years of practise and learning Mary eventually went on to becoming a Reiki Master- her holistic approach to health and wellness is where she found her true passion.

The family would like to thank all the Nurses , PSWs and Santos for their care, love and support of Mary during her stay at the Maple Grove Care Community.
