Penny was one of the most sincere, generous and kind people I have ever met. She was infectious – there was no way that you could escape her. She just had that impact on people. She was an integral part of my life growing up. I loved her like a mother and talked to her like a friend. She was so tolerant of us – and let us be crazy and act like the silly kids we were. I will fondly remember so many things about trips to Yorkville when she was getting her hair done, rides to the cottage where Kathleen and I probably drove her nuts, and long talks at the kitchen table. She was the most real person I think I have ever met. We hadn’t talked in several years, but I have never stopped thinking about her – and I certainly never stopped loving her. She was truly a wonderful, wonderful person – and I will miss her dearly.
We will miss your beautiful soul. May God Bless You.
Penny was the kindest, sweetest most beautiful person I ever met. We hit it off instantly our first trip to Toronto in 1976. We were sisters by marriage but we treated each other like sisters. Even though we didn't get to see each other often, it was like we just picked up where we left off every time we did see each other. I can still hear her saying Hi, Dar how ya doing? I will miss you everyday. I love you Pen. Rest in Peace sweet lady.
So sorry to hear about Mary Ellen. She was always so warm and welcoming to our family whenever we met; a beautiful woman for sure. God bless you all and I will keep you all in my prayers.
Very very very special lady and I will miss her wonderful smile everytime I saw her.
