Mary passed away with her daughter and family by her side, in Toronto, Ontario, on Thursday May 23, 2024. Mary was preceded in death by her father Vincenzo Bertucci and her brother Vito Bertucci and is survived by her daughter Mikayla (Chris), her mother Anna, her sister Francesca, her brothers Domenic and Vincenzo (Vicky), her niece Andrea, and her nephew Vince (Genevieve), who cherished her dearly.

Mary was loved by all who knew her. She had the ability to put anyone and everyone at ease with her kindness and sense of humour and she always ensured everyone felt welcomed in her presence. There was nothing more important to Mary than her family and friends and she never missed an opportunity to tell them how much she loved them.

Mary was a patient and loving mother to Mikayla, who she referred to as her biggest blessing and her best friend. They shared a passion for travelling, running, and Jeopardy reruns and were fortunate to spend many years doing these things together.

Mary, your wisdom, positivity, generosity, and contagious laughter will be missed beyond measure. You were, and will continue to be, a ray of sunshine in the lives of many.
