Marlies Kruecken

May 14, 1933 - November 15, 2017

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marlies Kruecken (Koch) on November 15, 2017 at the age of 84. Cherished wife and partner of Hans for over sixty years. Loving mother of Conny (Doug) and treasured Omi of Sean, Michelle (Niall) and Bryan. Marlies’ strong and caring spirit will be deeply missed by family and friends. A funeral service will be held at the York Cemetery on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10:45am. Guests are welcome to come as early as 9:30am to pay their respects.
As a dedicated Early Childhood Educator for many years, a donation may be made in Marlies’ name to SickKids Hospital in lieu of flowers.

Dear Hans, Conny and family,

We are sorry to learn of Marlies' passing. She was a wonderful person. Over the years we spoke to her many times, on passing by, when she was sitting on the front porch. She was always ready to engage in conversation. We will miss her smile and affable manner.
