In memory of

Mark Douglas Allen

August 17, 1985 -  June 10, 2024

It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to Mark “Marky” Allen. Our beloved son, father, partner, brother, and friend passed on Monday, June 10, 2024, after a short and brave battle with cancer.

He was born in Niagara Falls, New York in 1985 and shared much of his life there and in Ontario.

Marky was a genuine and caring person. He loved spending time outdoors with friends and family, and collecting and caring for his many pets. He loved learning new skills and hobbies, trying new foods and recipes, and getting cool tattoos (even though he didn’t love getting them done!). He was fun and easy to be around, unless you were on the opposite side of the airsoft field. He had a great sense of humour and a goofy laugh to go with it. He never cared about being cool while simultaneously being the coolest guy in the room.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Wendy and Peter Bensley, and Mark and Amy Allen; Life partner, Pamela Falkowski; Children, Madison, Lily, and Garrett; Siblings, Paul, Rachel, and Josh Allen, and Julie, Kelly, and Wesley Bensley; and long time friends, Doug Montgomery and Steve Henshaw.

The funeral will be held at Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1057 Brock Road, Pickering on June 22nd from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

I will miss you. You were the reason for my expansive knowledge of TMNT. I hope Grammy is wanting for her Toolie with baked goods, veggies and a cup of ranch!

On behalf of the JMX workers/foremans
We all loved Mark. His presence was greater than life.
I have not had the luxury to spend as much time as most of you have with Mark
But I must say the short time I spent with him showed me a different side of life.
Enjoy the small things.
Enjoy life as it is
Love and forever peacefulness
RIP Mark 🙏
