Noble, Marjorie Jo-Anne (nee Vair)
Peacefully at North York General Hospital on Thursday, January 11, 2018, in her 79th year. Mardi now joins her best friend and husband Don (pre-deceased). Loving mother to Peter Noble (Joy) and Kiersten McVeety (Don), adoring grandmother to Lukas and Avery McVeety, dear sister to Reita Tully (pre-deceased), Jack Vair and Mary Lou Osborne, and beloved aunt and great-aunt. After a brief teaching career, Mardi turned her focus to raising her family, and was a significant influence on direct and extended family. Mardi had also been an active member of East York Curling Club for many years. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 18 at 1:00pm at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road (www.etouch.ca). In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Ontario Lung Association.
