In memory of

Marion Anderson Jaffray

May 24, 1929 -  September 25, 2022

It is with an extremely heavy heart, that we share the passing of our mother.

God called for her peacefully at the age of 93 on September 25, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Providence Healthcare.

Dedicated and loving mother to: Marion, Janet, John (deceased), Norman, Duncan, Patricia, and their spouses.

Proud grandmother to 19 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Her memory will be kept alive and cherished by her family, her sister Agnes, her many nieces, nephews, and extended relatives and friends in Canada, Scotland and England.

She will be remembered as a loving, strong, determined, caring and compassionate woman.

She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marion’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

Nana, thank you for all that you taught me and the unconditional love. I will miss your laugh, your stories about the Bell and all the dance parties we had. Xoxox

My memory of “Mrs Jaffray” growing up in Fingarth Street, Fintry, Dundee, Scotland before emigrating to Canada was that she was kind, quiet and always had a smile. I remember she loved a packet of PK and buying one when the ice cream van came around. RIP Mrs Jaffray ❤️

Forever my Nana Banana,

I am grateful for the 45 years of you in my life. I will cherish all of the time we had together. There were so many holidays, countless sleepovers through my childhood, kitchen parties turned dance parties, chitchat’s off to the side about your past and watching you walk passed my art gallery most days for a decade. I will never forget your love for the handbag, your strong dislike for olives and the smell of your hairspray - because you always had perfect hair…

Love Alison

Auntie Marion was my Mum’s (Ina) Sister. We grew up loving Auntie Marion for her kindness, warmth and sense of humour.

She will be missed by all who knew her. We pray she’s in heaven and having a great reunion with her brothers and sisters who went before her.

Rest In Peace…..we love you
