In memory of

Mario Chan

February 18, 1980 -  April 28, 2024

It is with tremendous grief that we announce the tragic and sudden death of our beloved Mario Chan. Mario passed away on April 28, 2024 from a sudden accident. He is survived by his two sons Justin and Jason, and his wife Mina.

Mario was born in China on February 18th, 1980. He always had great ambitions, goals, and vision. These principles guided him to become the person he was before passing. He started a successful shipping business in China before moving to Canada and raising his two sons here. He built homes before gaining his Real Estate License where he began trading real estate before starting his own Brokerage (RE/MAX Dynamics Realty).

He shined his knowledge and foresight on others, and it is with deep sadness that he passed so tragically. Mario was always available to help anyone in need, no matter friend, family, or stranger. His ambitious characteristics have made huge impacts on everyone that came across his path. He is missed by his wife Mina and son’s Justin and Jason, his mother (Lisa), brother Willam and his nephew Martin.

A private funeral will be held at the Elgin Mills Cemetery, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1M9 on Friday May 3rd from 12:30 to 4:00. Flowers will be appreciated and accepted.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Mario’s passing. I was fortunate enough to meet Mario on numerous occasions as I helped assist him through the process of purchasing his RE/MAX franchise. Mario displayed such eagerness and positivity to succeed at whatever he put his mind towards. He truly encompassed an optimistic lifestyle that so many of us forget to live our lives on.

A warm personality and an oh so reliable smile when passing each other at conferences, Mario was one of the good ones. He cared about helping others and was determined to ensure other’s success equal to his own. Thank you Mario for making the world a better place with your time spent on it; and for leaving a legacy of such a wonderful human being.
