In memory of

Marilynn Mabel Brunstrom

July 6, 1929 -  June 2, 2023

Marilynn Brunstrom died peacefully in her 94th year. Marilynn was the daughter of Arthur and Mary Draper of Niagara Falls. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, her son Douglas Brunstrom and her brothers Ray, Donald and Harold.

Marilynn is survived by and will be greatly missed by her daughters Lynn (Blaine) Hare, and Karen (Fraser) Cutler. She was a proud grandmother of Luis (Melissa) Orozco, Meagan (Grant) Semelman, Jesse (Sarah) Orozco and Carolynn Hare who loved her dearly. She was a great-grandmother of Luis, Chelsea, Hailey and Keira, and enjoyed the time she spent with them, delighted by their antics on video calls.

Marilynn was a wonderful dancer and excelled at ballet and Scottish dancing in her youth. Guests commented on what wonderful dancers she and her husband Charles were at family weddings. Mom was a Brownie and Girl Guide and played the accordion. Later in life, she loved attending her grandchildren’s sports and school events and became a Blue Jays fan.

Mom was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was proud of her family and loved to hear of all of our accomplishments. She loved us all deeply and unconditionally. To everyone who knew her she was kind, considerate, caring and nurturing. We were blessed to have had her in our lives.

We are grateful to the staff at Tyndall Seniors Village who cared for Mom and Dad in their later years. Your dedication and loving support had a great impact on our family.

A donation to either the Arthritis Society or the Alzheimer’s Society in remembrance of Marilynn is appreciated.

Reading the obituary it is clear what a loving, fun and respected person your mother was. It is nice to have such wonderful memories or her and to have lived so many years is a real blessing.

All the best to everyone who is working through this difficult time.

Cheers to your Mom!
