Her love, compassion and generosity will be missed but never forgotten. A private only family celebration of her life is scheduled for early Monday July 31st at the Meadowvale location. No public visitation, however flowers can be sent to the Meadowvale location. Condolences can be left at this site. Please enjoy the pictures and a small taste of the music played at Marilyn's service.

FAMILY SERVICES OF PEEL-EMPLOYMENT ONTARIO TEAM (Shelley's co-workers)

Entered July 29, 2017 from MISSISSAUGA

We offer our thoughts, prayers and well-wishes during this dark time for the family of Marilyn Joy Jantzen. Fond memories are what we have to remember of our dearly departed, a good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven. A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts, through us, they live on... When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. No one can prepare you for this loss; it comes like a swift wind, but take comfort in knowing that she is now resting in peace. Forever remembered, forever missed.

May care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead.

Please accept our heartfelt and deepest condolences, just know that we are here for you,

Priyanka, Jeff, Halyna, Evelyn, Jenee, Jasmin, Nicole, Larissa, Anna-Lisa, Anna, Yousef, and the rest of the team at Family Services of Peel-Employment Ontario.

My sister was a very loving caring person. Her love for her family was the most important thing in her life. So pleased that I was able to be with her in her final days. She was very courageous in her battle. Rest in peace Marilyn... till we meet again. All my love forever.

Brave and courageous till the very end, Nana's strength never ceased to amaze me. She raised two exceptional daughters (my mother Shelley and my aunt Susan) as a single mother and fought personal battles in a time when society was not nearly as accepting and forgiving as it is today. She was a shoulder to lean on and the first person to turn to for support because she listened without judgment. She overlooked my faults, inspired me to achieve my goals and praised my success. Her laugh was infectious, especially after a glass of chardonnay! I am grateful to have been her grandchild for 30 years and I find solace in all of the moments we've shared. Nana, I will miss you but I am thankful you have found peace.

Dear Mom,

It is so hard to find ALL the words you deserve to describe what an incredible mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister, cousin and friend that you have been. Shelley and I could not have been more blessed than to have you as our mom.

Unlike today, you had no support to assist you as a single mother, but you managed to work hard and provide the best life you could for both of your daughters. I will always remember how you fussed over us to make us the girlie girls we are today..pretty dresses, bows in our styled hair. (still wished you told me about my uni-brow, but as usual you always thought we were beautiful). No wonder we were so proud of you, the "hot" working mom in the neighbourhood. Who could forget those "hotpants" from the 70's!

You have always been there to encourage and listen, no matter the time of day. Your grandchildren and your daughters and family always came first!

I will miss serving you that extra helping of turkey etc...but we will raise a glass to you at every meal and know you are in a better and beautiful place.

See you on the other side Mom, much love, Susan and family xoxoxoxxo
