Passed away peacefully at Toronto Grace Health Center on Tuesday July 18th, 2017 after a short 6 month battle with cancer. Marilia will be missed by her beloved husband Joao. Beloved mother to John (Anna). Lovely grandmother to her two grandsons Jordan and Austin. Loving companion to her beloved pet dog Lindinha. She will be deeply missed by her brother Francisco (Umberta) Valadao, sisters Evangelina (Baltazar) Meneses and (late Saozinha & Eugenio Valadao) and their families. Daughter to the late Francisco & Maria Valadao.

The family would like to thank the staff at Toronto Grace Health Center for making her last days very peaceful and comforting for her. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to The Toronto Grace Health Center or the Canadian Cancer society.
