In memory of

Marie Gisele Spear

September 5, 1937 -  June 28, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Gisele Spear, who departed gently on June 28, 2022, at the age of 84, in her home surrounded by her family.

A purely positive lady with selfless enthusiasm, who radiated sunshine into so many peoples’ lives.

It cannot be overstated the positive impact she had on so many peoples lives.

She was truly spectacular !

For those of us that were fortunate to call her Mom, Grandma, Sister or Aunt, she was the very definition of unconditional love and positive support.

For those that were fortunate to call her friend, please know that she loved you all and cherished your friendships.

For those that were fortunate to call her teacher, you know that she was genuinely invested in your education both academically and personally and gave all of herself to helping her students in any way she could.

The world was a better place for having had her.

Dedicated wife of George Spear, beloved Mother of George Jr., Victor, Peter (Susan), David (Maha), loving Grandmother of Theodore, Anneliese, Sarah, David, Andrew, Joseph, Jacob. Great Grandmother to Jack and Wilder.

A graveside ceremony will be held on Monday, July 4th at 2pm at York Cemetery.

A celebration of life gathering will be scheduled on her upcoming birthdate of September, 5th 2022. Details to follow.
