To Γιαγιά

With a very heavy heart and many tears in our eyes we say farewell to γιαγιά Marika; grandmother, friend and confidant. You were one special lady to all of us and words cannot express the amount of love we have for you. You will greatly be missed by all of us; myself, Sophie, Nicholas & Christiana. WE LOVE YOU ΓΙΑΓΙΑ MEPEE!!!

Nicholas & Christiana had the pleasure of having their great grandmother in their lives and have you as a part of their upbringing. Your generosity, kindness and love was always present and evident. Every visit was special. Visiting the house and seeing your chair empty has deeply saddened them both and brings up many emotions. They were blessed to have had that time with their great grandmother.

Sophie always loved her visits with you, you made her feel so special, like her own grandchild. She definitely considered you her grandmother. She is very saddened that she will not have you here with us anymore. Every beautiful memory with you brings up emotions and many tears. She loves you with all her heart and will miss you forever.

My family will never forget you γιαγιά.

My gosh, what can I say. You were not only my grandmother, but a friend and a confidant whom I always enjoyed my time with. We had many of conversations and visits together. I am blessed to have spent so much time with you. You made an impact on my life. The house will be empty without your presence. It hurts to not see you in the family room in your spot anymore. I am deeply saddened to see you pass but I am happy to say I have so many great memories with you. Thank you for being who you were to me and my family as well. There always was and always will be a special place in my heart for you and you will be forever missed! I'll never forget you.
Rest in Peace ΓΙΑΓΙΑ and may your memory be eternal!

Love always,
Ted, Sophie, Nicholas & Christiana
